Introduction of Prof.Luo Linbao
Dr. Luo,Linbao is currently a full-professor in the School of Microelectronics, Hefei University of Technology, which is a state key university in China. He obtained his Ph. D degree from City University of Hong Kong, in Oct. 2009. He is a senior member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). In Hefei University of Technology, as a director he has been leading the LASDOP (Laboratory of Advanced Semiconductor Devices and Optoelectronic Integration, http://optoele.hfut.edu.cn) composed of more than 60 staffs and graduate students. This research group is mainly focused on the development of a number of high-performance nano-optoelectronic devices with varied device geometry for artificial detection and discrimination application. In the past decade, Dr. Luo have published more than 220 peer reviews journal papers, with a total citation of 11000 (Google). What is more, he has also been invited to write a book chapter (IOP) and 8 reviews for journals such as Nano Today, Adv. Funct. Mater., Adv. Opt. Mater. J. Mater. Chem. C and Chinese Laser.
He has applied more than 25 Chinese patent, and nearly 17 has been successfully authorized. As a principle investigator, he has been in charge of several national NSFC (Natural Science Foundation of China) and provincial key grants. Due to his academic achievement, Dr. Luo has been included in Stanford Top 2 World Scientists list, and has been awarded the 2020 Anhui Province Science and Technology Award for his innovative study in graphene-semiconductor based optoelectronic devices.
Professor Luo has delivered more than 60 talks in both domestic and international conferences, such as the INPEC (International Nanophotonics and Energy Conference), GLVP (Global Photovoltaic Conference), Light Conference, Chinese Physics Annual Meeting, Chinese Semiconductor Association Annual Meeting). Besides, he has been serving as referee for nearly 70 Journals, including Adv. Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater., Laser Photonics Reviews, Nano Lett., ACS Nano, Nature Commun., IEEE Trans. Electron Dev., IEEE Electron Dev. Lett., IEEE Photonics Technol. Lett. etc.
